Charles Caffray is a Managing Director within BTIG’s Investment Banking division, leading the firm’s New York Financial Sponsors coverage team. He has more than 20 years of institutional sales and trading experience within both public and private markets. Previously, Mr. Caffray spent more than a decade within BTIG’s Institutional Equities team, focused on financial sponsors in the hedge fund and private equity space. His experience as a senior multi-asset class sales trader offers unique insight into the investment criteria, decision-making and strategies leveraged by financial sponsor clients. Earlier in his career, Mr. Caffray was at Banc of America Securities, where he focused on the execution of equities, equity derivatives and index derivatives for asset managers. He held similar roles at JPM and Goldman Sachs, where he began his career within Institutional Equities. Mr. Caffray earned his BA in economics from Denison University.
